About the Role

The Supply Register are working in partnership with Beckfoot Trust to recruit nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Bradford.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early years education to support children at a crucial stage of their development. You will work closely with class teachers to create a stimulating, safe and engaging learning environment in line with the EYFS framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning within Nursery and Reception

• Assist with phonics, early literacy and numeracy development

• Deliver small group interventions and 1:1 support

• Encourage learning through play and structured activities

• Support children’s social, emotional and communication development

• Assist with observations and contribute to learning records

• Promote positive behaviour and safeguarding practices

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working within an EYFS setting

• Hold a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (desirable)

• Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework

• Be patient, caring and enthusiastic

• Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills

• Have a clear understanding of safeguarding procedures
